PHILIP O. "PHIL" SPARKS

The reading of Phil's passing has left my husband and me with heavy hearts. Phil was one of the finest men we had the privilege of knowing. He and his family were our neighbors in our high school years and then he was our trusted pharmacist for many more years. Then in his latter years, he was the Father/Father-In-Law of our dear neighbors, Steve and Mitzi. Bob joins me in sending Tommielu and all the Family our condolences. Shirley. Reid

Phil was a good friend over the years. First as a fellow cornet player in the early days at GHS; later when we both met challenges while at UF; and still later when we would converse over a beer or meet at a high school reunion. And, of course, many of us would visit his dad to keep our hair in place!

I knew Phil became a great pharmacist. But I didn't realize how involved and compassionate he was in the 'drug business'. And I observed how he really cared for people at the 13th...
