I saw Phil while I was on the Briefing Course in about 1976. He came to the course room with is daughter (Mimi Rogers, Class 8 Auditor) to give a short talk. His presence was noteworthy.

ca. Late 70's at Palo Alto Mission: I remember Phil giving "Sunday Lectures" while wearing full safari gear - the shirt, the pants, and let's not forget the helmet. I loved it.
