Not sure what to say?

It is with deep deep sadness that I learn of Phil's passing. For over 2 decades I have personally benefited by his wisdom, appreciated his perspective, enjoyed his wit, and cherished his friendship. The house of Emergency Medicine, the citizens of Connecticut, and the entire EMS family have lost a treasured resource, a unique and distinguished physician, and stalwart keystone of our EMS system whose presence was often taken for granted. A visionary during Emergency Medicine's infancy, Phil...

I will miss his friendship and his great sense of humor.

I had the pleasure to know Phil through his fine work with the State EMS system. Phil was always a voice of reason with a personable and intelligent perspective on any pithy problem that was on the plate at a given moment. He added a great deal and we shall all miss his wit and committment. Ian Cummings, Putnam, CT.

Dr. Stent was a gentleman at all times, good or bad. I treasured his friendship which began under trying circumstances when he showed his true grit. Jim Throwe

We have lost a treasure; a caring healer who understood the unique purpose of the EMS industry, its members and mankind in general.

I would like to extend my deepest
sympathy to the Stent and Resnisky
families for the loss of your loved
one.

To the family and friends of Dr. Stent:

Heartfelt condolences on behalf of me and my family. Dr. Stent has been a model of unwaivering integrity to many across the state and most especially within our EMS family, he will be missed.

God Bless

For the basics in life there are the 3 R's, with Dr. Stent he lived the 3 W's: Wit, Wisdom and Willingness. His witty humor, his vast wisdom in regards to both in-hospital and prehospital care and his genuine willingness to pursue what needed to be done will truely be missed by the both the ED and EMS communities! We'll miss you Dr. Stent!
