Philip Straus

A year or two ago, I had the chance to spend an hour or two with Phil Straus Sr, as we rode around Philadelphia, looking at the beautiful murals done by a very talented and motivated group of young artists. Our conversation was wide-ranging and it was enlightening and educational to get a perspective on so much from one who had lived so long and travelled so widely. His legacy and love of life lives on in my friend, his son Phil Jr, and will no doubt be passed on to his grandchildren.

We are in deep sorrow over the loss of our dear friend Phil. We will always remember all our good moments together.
