Philip Summa

My deepest sympathies to the Summa Family for the loss of Phil, he was truly the kindest person. I met Phil about 20-years ago when I was a young Banker just starting out. His firm kept him very busy, but he always made time to speak to me and make that personal connection. I eventually moved onto another bank, but through the years I would see Phil at various events around town or drop-in on him to say hello and we simply picked up from where we left off, like two old friends. So very sorry to hear about Mr. Summa´s passing! What a great, funny person! Always had such a warm smile and positive energy about him! Will always remember how he would come into Mr. Lassiter´s classroom just to tell a joke! I didn´t learn as much as I should´ve in his Chemistry class because I was too busy gawking at his handsome face!. The news of Phil's passing breaks my heart. He was an inspiration to lawyers and a friend to everyone he met. HIs faith, his pursuit of excellence in his profession, and his love for family was a model. I pray that God would comfort the Summa family, trusting that Phil's absence here means his presence in heaven.

I just learned of Phil's passing. I am sad to hear as Phil was always a warm and engaging member of our church family.
