Philip Teitelbaum

I was a student social work intern at Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital in 1978.  I remember attending an in-service which Philip conducted on the subject of documentation.  He was a good leader and communicator.  Another memory I have of him is more recent and more personal.  My husband and I attended his son Dan's wedding to Nanako.  Philip and the other hosts and hostesses were warm and gracious, and I remember Philip making my friend and me chuckle.

AS A FORMER NEIGHBOR AND BABYSITTER OF PHILLIPS TWO BOY'S DAN AND KEN I WISH TO SEND MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.

I worked at the Kalamazoo State Hospital (KRPH) with Phil from 1972 to 1974. We enjoyed spending time together and I learned much as a young social worker. I loved his sense of humor and his care for others.

Sending sincere condolences on the passing of Phil. Grateful for his friendship during the decades I worked with him on public educational television programs at the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital and his positive enthusiasm. Hoping for all the best for all of you.
