I am very sorry to hear about Phil. I have known him my whole life. He was one of my father's (Bob Scarpello) best friends ever since I can remember. He was a really great guy and he will be missed. Phil and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Phil for the past 2-3 years as a member of the Knights of Columbus in Lynn. Phil's advice and support to me as the incoming Grand Knight of the council this year means more to me than he knew, and I'll miss him tremendously. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
