Papa I wish you were here

To the Trifilo Family and all his other friend,s I am very late in learning about Phil's passing and I am sorry I am making my condolences so long after this sad news. But I was remembering Phil and, as you do, Googled him. And here I am, a former firefighter friend of Phil's. He was a great firefighter, gtreat natual story teller and joke teller, and he inspired instant comedy in others - even me one time. Phil and I - I playing the smaller part - just naturally and spontaneously made up a...

You will be missed Uncle Phil. I will always be grateful to you for having me while I was home in Hawai'i honoring my Mom's last wishes. You lead such a fascinating life. Rest in Peace Uncle.

Florence and Phil's children--- Just got word of Phil's passing from my son and I offer my deepest condolences to you all.
Last time I saw Phil was 11 years ago at Fr. Tommy C's wake and some things never change as we talked, joked and laughed about times past. He practically owned

Papa I miss you. I wish I could call you or send you a note. I am forever grateful to have had you for so many years. Love Anessa

Phil Trifilo Sr. was a close friend of ours for many years, in Meriden, Oneco, and Hawaii. We visited Phil many times in Oneco after he left Meriden, the beautiful log cabin home with the chapel where Phil loved to make Rosary Beads to give to the less fortunate. He was also a master craftsman, working out of his workshop in Oneco. We were fortunate to get one of the beautiful wishing wells Phil made.
Having been fortunate to have a time share in beautiful Hawaii for many years, we visited...

To Florence Dickson and Family,
It was so sad to learn of Phillip's passing but glad he is with our Lord. Phillip loved the Lord and faithfully served him, willingly with joy. I had the pleasure of serving with him daily at Mass for over a year at our church. He was truly a devoted servant and ever faithful to our Lord. I will never forget him.
