Not sure what to say?

I remember our fun cookouts every summer at his house when we were kids, and playing the game of Mr. Ree in the basement. Then when I saw him as a grown man, he was the nicest person. He reminded my of his father, who was always such a warm, sweet man. I'm so sorry he's gone so soon. Margie (Loebker) Sanregret (cousin)

Eternal rest for Phil and may prepetual light shine upon him, prayers for his family and friends.

I first met Phil at a meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Cecilia Church in Independence, Ky. Because Vaske was a name I was familiar with from my past, I inquired if he was related to the person who owned Vaske's Bowling Alley in Newport. That Vaske was his father. After that encounter, we became very good friends. We knew many of the same people. He was a very devout Catholic and as good as any man you could find. We love you and God has blessed you. You will be...

Cousin Phil always had a hearty laugh and ready handshake whenever and wherever you encountered him. May God grant his dear sisters, Joan and Judy, beloved wife, Dianne, and his sons, daughter, grandsons, nieces, nephews, and friends comfort in this time of loss.
