It was so sad to hear of Phil's passing. Our family's go back to when we were at St. Gilbert grade school. He was a wonderful person and will be missed. I wish I could be at the service but unfortunately I am in New Orleans. My deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with your whole family.

My partner Dave Einhorn and I played golf with Phil in the Monday night league at VHGC for many years. He was a wonderful person to be around. Always laughing (even when the golf wasn't so good). We will miss him very much.

I was lucky enough to call "Uncle Phil" a friend! He had a great big heart under that gruff exterior and it was so much fun to make him laugh! Thank you for sharing him with us at the Sheriffs Office. He was one of a kind.
