Not sure what to say?

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

We had the tremendous privilege of growing up in Samalayuca Estates where we became friends of the Volks and other amazing neighbors. Dr. Volk was a huge presence with a warm and terrific sense of humor. My best love to Edie, Phil, Jeff, Kim, and their beautiful families. Godspeed, Dr. Volk. xo Mimi McGarey

Dr. Volk had been my families doctor since before I was hatched. He and my dad would verbally joust each other at the end of every visit, and it would sometimes spill into the waiting room, and once into the parking lot. My dad respected and loved Doc. I measure every Dr. by how Dr. Volk practiced medicine and have only found one that ever came close.

So sorry to hear about Phil's passing. Such a great person. Love, Glen and Judy Gudeman

It was my Honor to care for Phil until the end. Edie you have the most amazing family. We are always here for you. Love you!!!

Phil, Connie and family, very sorry for your loss. May God bless and heal you all.

For many years Phil and Edie were great friends of my husband, Dick Toll, MD, and myself. Phil was involved in U of A athletics at the very beginning with Dick. He cared for my son throughout his school years. His outgoing behavior, and great skills made him a compassionate physician loved by his patients and friends. Hugs to all his family!

My mom worked for Dr Volk; he delivered my brother and he was my doctor for many years. I pray for peace and comfort for your family.

I am so sorry to hear that Dr. Volk passed away. He was a dear friend of my Dads (Jojo Owens). Sending our sympathies and prayers to your family. Susie Wright (Owens)
