After getting to know him i wrote his first life insurance policy .
I moved from Macon to New Orleans , La to establish my agency there and eventually lost contact with Phil but learned of his hard working success through friends.
Phils successful rise did not suprise me because he was a very dedicated and...

Thanks for the wonderful management for Otis Redding that launched his career and his music inspired my music career so much, that he was one of my idols. You will always be though well of, and respected as one of Georgia's greatest Musical Pioneers. I have a picture of you, Allen, William Bell and me, that is among my keep sakes. My sympathy to your family. Much Love, Early Clover (native of Dublin/Wrightsville, Ga.)Now live in (Hendersaon, NV)

Thank you Phil...for being a great friend to Southern Rock and to us all. Thank you for recognizing the fact that great bands do not just come out of New York and L.A. Your musical vison that you pioneered put pride back in the south and gave many young bands in and around Florida and Georgia the hope that they also stood just as good a chance as everyone else. Rest in peace knowing that Southern Rock is alive and well and Capricorn and your legacy will go on forever. Peace and God bless.
