Not sure what to say?

My Uncle Phil was like a knight in shining armor for me and my family while I was growing up. I remember he would come along and rescue me from whatever situation I was in at the time. He was also important to my siblings in doing just the same thing. He would show up unannounced and be there to be a dad-like figure. I didn't get to talk to him much as an adult but each interaction over the phone was fun, entertaining, and living. Rest in Peace Uncle!!!

I served under his command. SEMPER FI

The inspirational books written by Phil have made so many hearts turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.May the good Lord comfort his family with unfailing LOVE,AMEN

Judy and family,
I was so surprised and saddened to hear that such a strapping man full of vigor such as Phil was in my memory had died.
He was a force to behold , full of humor and fun and caring. I am so sorry to see him go. I wish you well in his absence.

Phil was a fabulous man and the best realtor I've ever known. He believe in me and Smyth Landing and he was integral in making the vision a reality. He was tough, but fair and honest with a tremendous amount of integrity. I am very sad that he has left this earth so soon, too soon for most of us that he has left behind, but he has left a legacy that we should all try our best to emulate in our own lives.

A brilliant man with a great smile and sense of humor. Losing your dad is extremely difficult when he is such a source of strength. He was giving and thoughtful and will live in our hearts forever.

Although many miles apart, you are in our hearts. Remembering our fun times together, both USMC and later. So very sorry. Phil was one of the very best and will be missed greatly. Semper Fi! Jerry & Marilynn

So sorry for the loss of your dad. He did so much for this country and the communities he lived in. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Spence and the entire Weigand Family, I came to know Phil in the real estate/title industry and honestly - he scared me. So tough and non-chalant. I automatically called him 'Sir' not realizing just how appropriate that really was. He was always so professional and I respected him greatly. It wasn't until he grew a full beard several years ago that he morphed into Sean Connery before my eyes and I just hugged him to which he responded with warmth & graciousness. That so changed my...
