My mother was Virginia Stone, formerly of James Island and member at Harbor View Presbyterian Church. Mother was living at the Presbyterian Home in Summerville when Philip became pastor of HV. He visited her faithfully and was a wonderful friend of her. He preached at her memorial service in July of 2011. Philip was love personified, and your loss of him has to be the worst thing you could possibly be experiencing. But, please know that Philip was loved by many and the you are, as well. ...
