My heart goes out to Philip's lovely family at this sad time.
I remember my years with Philip very fondly. He was focused, witty, wise, silly, creative, fun, and intimidatingly intelligent. He was my first true love.
Although our paths have diverged, I have sent him positive thoughts of strength and hope as he has battled illness. I send those now to his family, friends and his wife. I am so glad for him that he found love. He certainly deserved it!

I have never forgotten Philip, since our days in Drama at U of O. I will never, ever forget a particular scene he did. He was just 20-years-old.
