Judy,
Phil was a great person. He was a very hard worker who had the best attendance record that I ever knew of anyone at GE. Once, when was really sick, he asked to have a day off for personal time rather than blemish his attendance record. He was TOUGH. I really liked the guy.

Sorry to read about Phil's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing Phil while he worked at Nela. We also played poker together. Phil had a quiet personality while playing so you never knew what he had in his hand. He was a great friend and will be missed. Unfortunately, I will be out of town during his funeral and will miss the GE people who will be there to honor him.
