Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service - White Lake Chapel Obituary

Phillip David Anderson entered The Glorious Kingdom on January 9, 2023.  We know this to be true because Phil believed that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Phil was born in Shelby, June 8, 1949, to Edward G and Minnie E Anderson who preceded him, along with his brother,...

Not sure what to say?

I´m sorry to hear of Phil´s passing, I was one of his lab assistants in the electronics lab in 1985. When going to Muskegon Community, and taking electronics it was he, Robert Basset, and Ron Way, three phenomenal instructors. Phil would always send me down to the library to get copies of certain articles in magazines, I think he liked to stay on top of new technologies. He was always there to help the lab assistants with the influx of equipment repairs when the new students would start their...

Just recently heard of Phil's. My condolences to the family. Not only was Phil a great person, he was an exception to the rule as an instructor. When I was going to call it quits, Phil took me in his office and gave me all the reasons to stay in the program. He gave encouragement and made you believe in yourself. 35 years later, I am still in the trade. When in public, Phil would always stop what he was doing and come to greet me. Such a great man. He will be greatly missed.

Sorry for your loss! I consider Phil as not only a friend, but an excellent instructor! He will be sadly missed!! My condolences to the family!!!

High school friend, college buddy, groomsman at our wedding. Those memories and many more will always be with us. The smile was genuine and love never diminished. In our thoughts and prayers forever. RIP. Rick and Mary Ann LaGuire.

Laura and family: My memories of working with Phil are all good; always a smile and a word of encouragement. You will all be in my prayers.

Phil was a true friend with a sense of humor and kindness that couldn't be beat. I have such wonderful memories of growing up with him. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

I think the smile on Phil's face in the above picture speaks volumes about the man, for it is a true reflection on the outside of the character of the man on the inside. He was a joy to know, and I'm saddened by his passing. My heart goes out to his family.

Laura and family, I am saddened by the news that Phil has passed away. Never did I meet him anywhere that he didn't smile, hold out a hand, ask me how I was doing, or have a kind word to say. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to me and my family and will certainly be missed by all of us. Rest in peace Phil.

Uncle Phil you were an amazing Uncle. I have so many FUN memories with you and your family. I’m going to miss your laugh and the way you made people feel loved! Auntie Laura, John, Lori, Kayley and kids you are in my prayers! Grieving with you from afar! All my love, Moofie Until we meet again Uncle Phil!
