Phillip “Phil” Anthony Arcement, age 78, of Slidell, Louisiana, peacefully passed away in his home on Friday, January 21, 2022.


He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline “Jackie” Julliard Arcement, son Danny Arcement (Stacy), daughter Julie Arcement-Gonzalez (Marc), and four grandchildren—Eric, Christian, Ethan, and Lindsay.


Phil was preceded in death by his mother and father, Eula and Levon Arcement.


Phil was born in Houma, Louisiana on January 30, 1943. He lived most of his life in Port Sulfur, Louisiana and graduated from Port Sulfur High School in 1961. During his time at Louisiana State University, he was part of the LSU Marching Band and choir. Phil worked as a Chief Operator at Tennessee Gas for 30 years. He loved fishing, playing golf, and cheering for the Saints. In retirement, he enjoyed taking rides with Jackie and listening to music.


Recently he has been cared for by amazing care givers Joyce Samson, Hannah Herrin, Kim Carson, and Kattie Bailey.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,


1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA 
on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:30 A.M.


Interment will follow at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.


Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Glen remembers Mr. Arcement taking him to visit his work. He knew Glen would love the big engines that ran the pumps. He was right! He was kind to both of us and we will always appreciate that.
