Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Phil and the entire Ayers family fondly.

Remembering a very special man and sending thoughts and prayers

I am grateful for having known Phillip and being able to consider him my friend ... he was authentic and grounded. Our conversations were open, honest and transparent, and his sense of humor was wonderful. He was able to laugh at himself, openly and without reservation. I often think of him. Love and Hugs ... I miss your smile and the calm it brought to my life, but it is forever in my memory. Love and Hugs, Ted

LaVera and family, I had no idea about Phil's death until I received your Christmas card. I'm so sorry; he was one of my favorite cousins and I am fondly remembering some childhood antics when our family visited them in Wichita. His Dad was my Mother's brother (Uncle Leo). I will try to reach you soon. Linda Kropf

We were both Associate Members of the Iona Community, and in the Iona Community Prayer Book. A number of years ago, Phillip helped organize and host the USA West group at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. He was gracious and caring and led the group with finesse . That was a special time! Sounds like he got back to Iona, and for that I´m happy. Condolences to his family and friends.

Dear LaVera and family, I am grateful that Phil was my neighbor for almost 21 years! I found him warm, friendly, gracious, helpful and interested in his neighbors and our shared world and humanity. He made the world a better place by who he was. He will be missed. I send my heartfelt sympathy to you and all his family for your loss. With love, Katherine

Phillip was a kind and sweet man, and I feel honored to have known him. We had many conversations about our lives and our stories, sharing parallels in both. Love and Hugs, Phillip.

Phillip was a kind and sweet man, whom I considered a good friend. We shared many wonderful stories about our lives, and found comfort in talking with one another. I wish him peace.
