Not sure what to say?

I had Phil for Gym classes and drivers training at Jimtown. A kind man with a big desire to share Jesus. When we were alone driving, he would bring up the Gospel. It was a funny situation for me because I became a Christian in the mid-60´s at a Billy Graham Crusade in Denver Colorado and had been active in church for 7 years. So I didn´t say anything to Phil and would let him present the Gospel of Jesus Christ while we were driving around just to hear how presented it. After he was done,...

Mr. Barnes was an inspiring teacher and spiritual friend of mine during a difficult time. Thank you for your leadership and faithful example. I often remember the times you set aside for me, blessings that still resonate.

I remember Phill from Maranatha Fellowship. He was a good pastor. Very sorry for your loss. Last time I saw him he was at Lowes picking up stuff to help someone. He was always trying to help people.

I have very wonderful memories of Mr. Barnes. His love for the Lord impacted everyone he had contact with. We danced at my Jr. prom and I was a senior in 1974 when we won state. It was such an exciting time. What a legacy and what a man.

Mr Barnes was my driver's training teacher years ago at Jimtown. He was very kind and patient. I have nice memories of his teaching of my learning to drive. I read what a wonder testimony he left with many.
