Not sure what to say?

Hello Shirley,
The memories of the time that I spent with you and Phil prior to moving from the state of Ohio are memories that I will never forget! Putting brick pavers in the driveway under makeshift tent as it rained. Attempting to take the transmission out of the vet after we had lunch and dessert. And something about the desert we were unable to finish installing the transmission into the vet.
Love you guys always, Bob

Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to hear about classmates passing. I pray for your family.
"Perhaps his time seemed all too brief,
don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee,
God wanted him now; he set him free."

Doggie Pool Day - August 29, 2010

Dearest Phil, I was thinking about you today and sadly found out that you have passed on. You used to call me "Schmeggy" and you would ask for me by that name when you called into the Transplant office at Cleveland Clinic. I retired in December of 2014, but I will always have fond memories of my patients and you were very special to me. You were like a cat with 9 lives...I said good bye to you in the MICU many, many years ago and low and behold, you survived! You would stop by and say "Hi"...

Shirley,
We learn of Phil's passing as we sit in the airport in Tampa, Florida on February 14 at 1 pm. At this very moment his memorial service is taking place in Cleveland. We could not have known a kinder or more gentle man than Phil. We know you miss him deeply and so will we. God bless you.

Phil was the best!
Phil LIVED every single day!
He was such an honorable man. He served our country. Phil had a heart of gold. He always put his friends & family (including his 4 legged furry family members) first in his life.
Phil was a hard working man.
He loved animals & nature.
He was extremely intelligent, not only book-smart but knowledgeable about people, politics, and the world at large.
Phil was a dear friend.
You couldn't ask...

Phil and I were good friends in high school and we had many double dates together. I will always have fond memories of the times long past. May God rest his soul and bless Phil's family and bring them peace.

We went to Valley Forge HS and was a really nice and fun guy. Phil used to come down to my house on Mandalay Dr. and play cards with us during the summer. I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless you and give you peace.
