Phillip K. Barton

I worked with Phil for many years when I was at the Salisbury Post. I always found him friendly, forthcoming and helpful. He genuinely cared about every aspect of the library and its patrons. What he did while director is remarkable. I always admired him, and felt that I could call him friend. His presence, expertise and caring will be truly missed. Deepest condolences to Steve. Mr Barton was a hero for Rowan County!
