Phil was born on May 5, 1964 to Joanna R. Bowlin (nee Goodall) and Robert J. Bowlin. He entered eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the evening of January 7, 2025. He spent much of his youth living with his mother, Joanna and grandmother, Callie E. Goodall in Ballwin, MO. Born, raised and faithfully a follower of Christ his entire life. A kind hearted, understanding, friendly, jokester of a man, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He spent a large part of his life devoted to his Faith, Family and various jobs he held throughout the years. Phil was married to his adoring and devoted wife, Bonnie Bowlin (nee Avery) for 40 years. Phil was preceded in death by both parents Joanna R. Bowlin (Goodall) (2016) and Robert J. Bowlin (2019) as well as his grandmother Callie E. Goodall and grandfather Leroy "Roy" J. Goodall.


Phil is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Bowlin, their only son, Chad T. Bowlin, daughter-in-law, Alyssa A. Bowlin, grandchildren, Addison Bowlin and Cayden Bowlin. Father-in-law, Donald G. Avery. Sister, Carla J. Fuhrman (nee Bowlin), brother-in-law, Wally Fuhrman, their sons, Joshua Fuhrman and Andrew Fuhrman. Brother, Steven R. Bowlin, sister-in-law, Jill Bowlin and Steven's children, Ryan (Sarah) Bowlin, their children, Callie and Caedmon, Brandon (Emily) Bowlin, their daughter Allison, Lauren Bowlin (Michael Haines), their children, Lillian, Jordan, Hayden, Charli and Bentley, childhood friend Ron (Dianne) Karl and their children, Grace and Owen. Sister-in-law, Dawn (nee Avery) Ploesser and Marty as well as many more family, friends and coworkers.


In lieu of flowers Phil would prefer donations to JoyFM radio or to St. Louis Family Church of Chesterfield, MO.

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Interment PRIVATE.
