Dad told me that his middle name was spelled "Vaughn"...anyway, he was an inspiration in my life introducing me to camping, nature, canoeing, and photography. He was a brilliant man with a quick, dry sense of humor. He could tell you the name of every tree, flower, type of cloud, animal behavior, and geology of any area he explored. A real naturalist who understood the beauty and balance of our earth.
