I remember Mike as one of the best, if not the best, basketball players in Dutchess County. When we played against him, we knew we were in for a tough time. Rest in peace Mike.

My sincerest and most heart felt condolences to Mr. Eades' family. I never called him Mike out of respect for his greatness. I learned of his passing on Tuesday and I wish I had known. He was a classy man and great supporter of local high school basketball. Rest in Peace and I always loved seeing you at the games I coached. - Coach Brian Laffin and the Laffin Family

My Deepesst Condolence goes out to Eades Family, May you find comfort in Our Lord to heal your broken hearts and give you strength each day. I will keep you in pray.

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing.I knew Mike from the Eastern paralyzed vets wheelchair basketball team which he played on a few years.Although Mike was "limited" in his physical abilities his knowledge of the game couldn't be denied. He was a gentle spirit and fun to be around

I am so sorry to hear Mike has passed away.He was on our wheelcair basketball team for a few yearrs (eastern paralyzed veterans ) Mike was a gentle soul soft spoken and easy going.

Prayers for Mike, his wife and family. He is by far the best athlete Dutchess County has produced and he did so much to help many in the sporting world. Mike overcame so much. A true hero and someone to look up to. The newspapers were better back then, detailing every game.

So sorry to hear about Mike. I knew him from Taconic DDSO, he would come and swim. He had a wonderful family. Prayers for all. God bless.
