I always admired Uncle Phil for his inherent and unquestionable talent for writing; and for turning it into a career at the Examiner. He was always willing to help anyone. I benefitted from his advice and experience, particularly when studying. Thank you, Uncle Phil.

I have very happy memories of the legendary, rambunctious family gatherings at Herbert Street.

There's another place at that table now; he's sitting with Sarah, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Snooks, Uncle Chris, Auntie...
