Not sure what to say?

Honored to have met you, Phil. Cathy and I have been friends since fifth grade---you're the icing and candles on our celebration cake of life. Peace and love. Peggy Fogt Cothern

Thank you Mr. Fay for your dedication to the music program at Wilmington. You were always kind and supportive. My sincerest condolences to your dear family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Fay's passing. He was my choir teacher at WHS from 1975 to 1978 and I really enjoyed his classes and the music we all made. I majored in music so I saw a lot of him. He was a kind and fun person to be around. I considered him my friend. Your family will be in my prayers and he's thought of greatly. Tammie King

I know Phil will be remembered especially for his kindness. So sorry for your loss.

Mr. Fay was such an inspiration to many of us, leading music with meticulous rehearsals, expecting the best from us. I moved to Wilmington from Cincinnati my Junior year of High School. I´ve continued to be involved in music, directing choirs and performing in touring...

Mr Fay!!! You greatly influenced me in music. I enjoyed your classes and you were a true wonderful teacher! I'm still involved with music today. Thank you. Rest in peace.

Best memories of WHS is with the music programs and Mr Fay was a central part of that! Rest in peace sir! Class of 1981
