Dear Kay,

Though many years have passed since we all were last able to worship together, thoughts of Phil and his love for our Lord are still strong within us. We were young adults and new in our faith then. We learned from you and Phil that being a Christian involved a whole lot more than church on Sunday. We watched and we learned as you lived your lives. We couldn't have asked for better Christian roll models and friends.

You know how much we loved Phil and enjoyed our visits with you both in AZ. We'll always remember him as a kind, gentle man who loved his Lord and life. We've been blessed to have you for family and our love and prayers go out to you and his children.

My condolences.

Phil and I attended the University of Michigan together and were good friends during those college years. I have fond memories of driving home to TC from Ann Arbor with Phil and other friends. I remember him as a kind man with strong principles and a supurb talent for languages. He'll be missed by all who knew him.
