Not sure what to say?

Dear Brenda & Roger
I am so sorry for your loss. I know words can't heal your hearts but both Don and I wanted to let you know we are thinking of you. God Bless
Don Melton & Pam Goff
Charlottesville Eye Assoc.

May peace be with you always.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I knew Phil from Miller School and always remembered him as a good guy. I remembered the first time I ran into him on the downtown mall after returning from college, and how much he'd changed from the boy I knew. People like him are what made Charlottesville great, and he'll be missed by all. My heartfelt prayers go out to all his family, friends and the musical community he graced with his talent.

We'll miss you, Tater.

There truly never was or will be anyone else in the world like Phil. He was a unique, gentle, sensitive and artistic soul, and will be missed.

I knew Phil at Miller and also because we are both natives of this city. I just saw him recently on the mall where he gave me some cds to pass on to some connections I had in the music business. We had talked about the Miller School Song and him doing a cover. His music has the emotion to keep on living and he will. I was sad to hear of his passing.
Kindest Regards to his Family.
Rob

I will always love Slate Hill Phil. We were once inseperable partners in music. I still think of him everytime I hear/play 'down by the riverside'. His journey is complete and he has finally gone home. Now, he must be singing his favorite songs, together with his granddaddy.

On behalf of the Students, Faculty, Staff and Alumni of Miller School I want to express our deepent sympathies to the Gianniny family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
