Not sure what to say?

Coach Gordon was truly a man who had a way of getting the most out of his players. He taught so many of us life lessons that we have carried with us throughout our careers/lives. We miss you Coach and know that you are looking down on us with that charismatic smile.

Especially at this time of the year with basketball season in full swing, thoughts of CoachGordon flash through my mind. He left such a profound legacy that will carry on for decades.

Family- I just want you to know that I miss my friend and our chats. There´s not a week that goes by that he doesn´t come to mind for various reasons. I respected him immensely and he and I often would chat about all things Yankees, basketball, and cars. He was a special man and I just wanted you to know I miss him too, as I´m sure you all do to.

Dear Elma, I am so sorry to hear of Phil´s death, Sincerely, Kathryn Gauthier

I will Greatly miss him

Elna and family, I am profoundly sorry for your loss. As the Irish say, Phil was "good people." Coaching under Phil´s directorship at Golden Valley was a great time, as well as a learning experience for coaches. I´m sure Phil is up above palling around with the Duke, provided that he is a Yankees fan. Phil adhered to the phrase "when the going gets tough, the tough get going." I am sure this attitude rubbed off on your family and will serve you well at this difficult time. Condolences,...

Will truly miss his smile and hand waving hi from across the street. Phil will be missed even in the simple moments of the day-Joe and Beckie Moon

Sam, Julia and family, so sorry to hear of your father passing. He was always a great coach!! Condolences and much comfort in this time!
