I first met Phil when he was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic to wait for his heart transplant and I went to visit him as a volunteer visitor.

We connected and we became friends, seeing each other when Phil when come to Cleveland for his follow-up visits at the Clinic.

He was ance guy and a good friend. I will miss him.
