Not sure what to say?

Phillip was beginning to help me with my daughter. I'm greatly shocked and do not know what to make of this loss. God bless his children and all family. He was the best attorney and cared deeply for people with disabilities. God Bless.

Phillip was helping my son with a legal matter. We met him just a little more than a month ago and I was so impressed by how compassionate he was toward my son and towards me. I only found out he had passed yesterday, with great shock and sadness. I knew of the service he provided mentally ill persons who have to tangle with the Texas legal system; that's why we called for his help and he gave it so well during the short time we knew him. Rest in peace Phillip.

You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered, Phil. Sorry to lose such a compassionate and empathetic friend.

We will surely miss such a wonderful, compassionate man. He was such a great advocate for people with mental illness. He faithfully wrote a column for the NAMI Metropolitan Houston newsletter and helped countless people in desperate need.

Dobie Class of 1980

Eulogy for Phillip Jenkins, by Glen Muse.
I’ve known Phil since we were little, the second grade or so. I met him because his parents knew my parents, but we didn’t really become good friends until college. Our majors put us in classes together and we became good friends quickly. We had all kinds of adventures you might expect of college students, but nothing I’m going to share here with my parents sitting in the audience. We were good boys.

Over the last year...

Phillip Jenkins was a very kind man and a member of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Assn. We are deeply saddened by the loss of a good friend and lawyer. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to all his friends and family.

HCCLA will be holding a remembrance ceremony on September 8 from 11am to 12pm honoring criminal defense lawyers on our memorial plaque, which will include Phil's name. Friends and family are invited to attend. The ceremony will be held at the criminal courthouse,...

Phil will be missed greatly. I am so sadden by this. Hope the family is coping. You are all in my prayers.

I will miss you Phil, but never forget my buddy. You helped make law school fun. I am proud to have been your friend.

I met Mr. Jenkins last year, he represented a friend's daughter in a case that could have been a nightmare but it wasn't because he was wise and compassionate and a good lawyer and a good man. I am sorry to see that he passed so young..
He is in my prayers
