I have very nice memories working with Nancy at WRI. I learned a lot from her and will forever be grateful. Nancy pursued with passion what she believed was right. I appreciate how she loved creative ideas, thought strategically, and chose to tackle the toughest challenges. On a personal level, I'm also grateful for Nancy's mentorship, and providing an opportunity to work with truly great colleagues around the world. The world has been better for Nancy. We will miss her.

I am very sad to learn that Nancy passed away. I worked with her at the World Resources Intitute, in the expansion of a transportation program (then called Embarq), where we helped Mexico City get its first BRT line in 2005. The program worked in Brazil (mainly Porto Alegre,), China (Shanghai), India (mainly Delhi ,Mumbai and Bangalore), and Turkey (Istanbul), helping cities adopt sustainable mobility projects Later became the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable cities, expanding activities to...
