Not sure what to say?

Hard to believe my old NCOIC at Nha Trang has been gone for 15 years, he honored me, leaving much of his old "stuff" from out time there and I still have them placed on my book shelf. I am sure I gave Phil many a headache during our time (6 months) together with the 14th SPS...and could tell some stories if I had the time. We reconnected some 30 years later and stayed in contact until his passing. RIP Old Friend, until me meet again. Pat Houseworth {photo just some of the gifts...

Thank You for all the information in the Sprague family history. John Sprague

Phil was my NCOIC in Nha Trang, Vietnam, but more importantly, I considered him to be my friend. He looked out for all of us. I feel fortunate to have reconnected with him through VESPA, after all these years.
He was a truly great man. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was deeply sadden to hear of Mr. Langes passing. He was my 6th grade teacher and when asked growing up who was the most influential teacher I would always say Mr. Lange.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was truly a wonderful caring man and teacher.

I am deeply saddened at the news of Phil's passing.

I had the great fortune to have him as my step-father for several years and he was the male role model that most molded my attitudes toward self-discipline and responsibility.

He got me into Cub Scouts and at 62, I'm STILL a registered Scout leader. He taught me to fish and I still fish and so do my three sons and my two grandsons.

I will miss him dearly and greatly value these past few years that we have...

Sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Lange. He was such a caring teacher of all his students.

To Rusty, Paul and Family,
Our thought and prayers go out to you. Phil was truly a wonderful man. I enjoyed my years teaching with him more than you will ever know. In mind he was one of the "great" ones.
