I remember that Mr. Marino was the first principal who took a chance on me, a newbie to the teaching profession. He hired me on the spot after asking me to come for an interview. He was very sweet and kindhearted - asking me often once I started working at the Adams School - if there was anything I needed to make the job work more efficiently for me. I think he would’ve given me the moon if I’d asked, or at least tried to! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him - a dear sweet man. Rest...

My name is Tanya Boone. Mr. Marino was my principal at the Samuel Adams School. (I taught there from 1987-2019) He was one of the best principalsHe was more like a friend than a boss. He would bring pasta Fagolia for me and Ms. Brantley I am so sad to hear about his passing. He was a good man with a big heart for all, especially the children. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family and friends. Praying for comfort, strength, and peace
