Brian will be sorely missed. I just found an old letter he and Ed Bowden and Trey Cochran wrote me when I was at camp my freshman year of high school. He was hilarious and fun and a fellow music-junkie - an all-round lovely person. Those memories will always remain.
My heart goes out to Brian's family. Know that he touched many...

Brian was an iconic figure, and the original cool cat in our Armstrong neighborhood. My sentiments go out to his family and friends.

I wanted to express my condolences to all of Brian's family for your loss. He was a good friend of mine in high school and I had the privelege of seeing him several times throughout the last few years whether going to a Cowboy game or talking about his love of cactus. The silver Corvette will always symbolize the coolest car at Highland Park and boy was Brian proud of it. I'll miss you and forever wish you peace and happiness...

This is sad news indeed. I last saw Brian at the 20th high school reunion, and it was as if no time or distance had passed between us. What memories I have of this wonderful person. Brian introduced me to music, a subject for which he had such passion. As Spence Kendrick stated, so many nights at so many fun concerts, so many nights at the Morton household having the time of our lives listening to music at 3:00am instead of sleeping. Brian had such a great laugh and sense of humor; you...

I was deeply saddened to hear about Brian. We were very close in high school. I cannot think about those high school days without fondly remembering Brian.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
