Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your mentorship when I needed it most. Thank you for the example you set. We always remember you, but especially think of you this weekend.

We salute you today, knowing that when laid down your life in Iraq it was the valiant act of an honorable man. May God comfort the family that misses you so much.

Heard tonight on CBS about this amazing man. I thank-you for his service and for your sacrifice.

May the Lord comfort you. I look forward to meeting Phillip one day soon in Eternity.

Thank You Lieutenant Phillip Neel.

As my son completes the Neel Challenge this weekend up at West Point, I was moved to seek out information about Lt. Neel. I read these eulogies with a great sense of sadness at your loss. Your son must have been a wonderful person and you, wonderful parents. His impact on others who knew him was immense. And, now, there are 1200+ new cadets at West Point who will know him through this crucial test and challenge named after him.

Thank you for your service.

Please know that I think of Phillip often. We were in the same youth group in Fredericksburg and went to high school together. I will always remember he was the same each time you saw him. His witness in praying for the enemy stays with me, that fact represents the kind of young man he was. We will meet again. I know Phillip is walking with Jesus.

To the family of 1st Lt. Phillip I. Neel:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.
