Amanda & Family,
My family and I extend our heart felt condolences. We are appreciative of Phil's generosity and kindness, his selfless Christ like caring for others, who always felt like his brother's keeper. A rare man indeed. It was a pleasure and blessing to have gotten to know him over the years. We thank you for sharing him with us.

Amanda and Your Boys, I have been at a loss of words to offer to you. My heart hurts so much for you. You are such a beautiful and strong woman. Just know you and the boys are and have been in my prayers and thoughts. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I did not know your Loving Husband Phil, but he sounds like an amazing and loving man.
My Prayers will always include your family.

Dear Patten Family,
Our hearts are heavy with sadness at the news of Phill's passing. Our prayers are for all of you, that your hearts will be healed. Growing up Phill was a big brother to Matt. We are grateful for his positive influence. He was always the peacemaker with a big heart and sweet smile.
We send our love, Dorothy and Gene Furniss

Mandy and family,
I'm at a loss on exactly what to say. Phil is an amazing man. He was excited to help Special Olympics Utah and especially our team (his son Mason's team) He asked for nothing in return. I remember watching a proud father watch his son participate with our athletes and excel. I will miss his quiet demeanor and gentle sense of humor.
