I have been trying to contact Nancy since I heard about Phil. My husband, John, was the Headmaster of Thomas Heyward Academy so knew Phil through SCISA. Phil and Nancy came to visit John a few days before his unexpected death on November 29, 2023. I did not know of Phil's death until months later. Phil was a good man and a good friend. As a fellow Head of School with him in SCISA, it was always my pleasure to cross paths with him at functions. Always a gentleman and always willing to give a hand. Many lives touched by him over the years, including mine. His sharp wit and genuineness will be greatly missed. Mr. Rizzo was one of my teachers at ITT and he was the absolute most polite and kind teacher around the campus. He always spoke and conversated and talked about his wife Nancy in class. I haven't seen him in years but he definitely left an impression on me and this is how I will remember him. He was a delight to be around and I just want to send my condolences to his family from mine. So so sorry for your loss. He will be missed greatly.

God did call a special person home. Prayers do go to his family at this time. Memorys are overflowing in my mind now on how he encouraged us at Clarendon Hall.
