Phillip Sanders

Phil was a big part of my youth. Justin started at Hanahan in Middle school and he and I became quick friends. I spent a lot of time at their house over our high school years and Phil was always there to support Justin and all of us in all of our sporting activities, fishing, and generally just hanging out. Phil was a positive role model on the soccer field and treated all the players equally. He motivated us for many years on that pitch. Wish I saw the obituary sooner. God bless you and your family.

He was like a father to me growing up. He was very good to me when I needed it. I read this this too late to attend his service and I will always regret that. He was a fascinating and complicated man but I loved him. He was always good to me! I loved him.
