Phillip Lyness Thibodeaux, 70, passed away in a local hospital on June 25, 2018.
He was born on August 19, 1947 in Rayne, Louisiana to Nestor and Mary Guidry Thibodeaux. He served his country honorably in the United States Army before beginning a career as an operator in the petrochemical industry. He loved his dogs and enjoyed gardening, wood carving, and listening to Cajun music.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cynthia Thibodeaux; children, Laura Dubois, Tracie Fleming (Charles), Michelle DeRoche (Rocky), Chris Gaspard (Shana), Nicole Gaspard; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Paul Thibodeaux; sister, Jeanie Dillon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
