Phillip Willingham HODGES -- Boyce Phillip Willingham, 56, resident of 131 Camp Branch Run Road, husband of Kay Johnson Willingham, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, February 14, 1960, he was a son of the late Robert Andrew Willingham and Martha Kathleen Hamilton Willingham. He was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and retired from Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant. Phillip was a big supporter and travel mate of the Greenwood Live Wire Baseball Team and Erskine College Baseball Team. Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are his sons, Phillip Addam Willingham and wife Brandi and Andrew Ray Willingham and wife Briana, all of Greenwood and close family friend whom he considered a "son," Tim Thomas and wife Jamey of Greenwood; three brothers, Martin Blair Willingham and wife Ann and Dale Leroy Willingham, all of Greenwood and Douglas Edward Willingham and wife Pam of Enoree; one sister, Robin Kay Thompson of Beaufort; his best friend, whom he considered a brother, Kevin Joseph Flick and wife Greer. He was predeceased by a son, Alex Johnson Willingham and a brother, Robert Andrew Willingham. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Frank Thomas officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 Thursday evening. For online condolences visit www.blythfuneralhome.com.
