Wood, 67, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, Past Commander of American Legion Post 854 and the 8th District, Alumnus of St. Xavier University, beloved husband of Karen (nee Barry); loving father of Robert (Valerie), BethAnn (Scott) Smolinski, Megan, Keith, Brendan, Scott, Bridget, Brian, Martin, Moira and the late Sean; dear brother of Dennis (Angie), David, and Cheryl (Tom) Barker; proud Papa of Seamus, Samantha, Damien, Austin, Sarah, Shane, Sam, Shannen, Isaac, and Camoryn; son-in-law of Michael and Loretta Barry; fond brother-in-law, uncle and cherished friend of many. To the Wood Family: On behalf of the Adrian High School Class of 1962, we send our deepest condolences in the passing of Phillip. He was a great friend and classmate and we will miss him.
