Just found out. Sorry to hear this. Dr. Phil was truly a great guy

I just spoke of Dr. Phil last night as I have the past nearly 24 years. A smart, and incredibly perceptive man, with an ability to communicate firmly, yet fairly. His purpose to help individuals gain a transparent understanding of themselves, in order to navigate their lives with clarity and light, was meaningful to many, but especially to me. Through his practice of meditation, recognition of action/reaction, acceptance, and personal accountability, is how I will remember Dr. Phil...and he...

Sad to learn Doc passed away. I knew him when he lived on Harrison street in Oakland, we were neighbors and visited almost every night. We would also dine in SF and Berkeley. We would cruise the Berkeley hills in his red Toyota. Would tell me his father's name is at the Milwaukee airport. Rest in peace.
