Phil and I grew up together through grammar school and high school. We sang together and won a high school talent contest.I cherish my memories of him and offer my sincere sympathy to his family

Twila, we were out of town last week and were shocked to learn of Phil's death when we returned. He was such a nice guy. We have nothing but fond memories of all the Zarrellas. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Danielle and Z Family,
I was sorry to hear the sad news from friends so far away. My first memory of D's dad is as our soccer assistant coach. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

Mr. Zarrella,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served as a U.S. Navy Corpsman attached to Company E, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, of the 1st Marine Division in Vietnam. God know how many Marines' lives you probably saved. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Semper Fi Doc!

I worked with Phil for a number of years at Northern Nevada Medical Center. We had both moved on to different jobs, but I knew Phil to be one of the most decent people on this Earth. He exemplified in so many ways the "fruits of the Spirit" that Paul talks about in Galations: "Love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control." I know he rests in the arms of our loving Lord. God Bless to you and all your family. We loved you, Phil.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Phill was a wonderfull RT and friend. I will miss his professionalism and caring spirit.

Phillip was one of the greatest respiratory care practioners-full of compassion, kindness and humor. He was highly respected in his field. He would often stop by our office to have lunch with my co-worker Duayne. Please accept my sincere sympathy to all of the family. God Bless you.
