Not sure what to say?

Phil would visit the Typography Lab at UArts, right next door to Lois and the Printmaking Department. As staff and a fellow artist, I collaborated with him on several projects without knowing that I was actually an active collaborator in the process. After the fact, following the brainstorming and the development of material, Phil spilled the beans. I had enough information along the way, but not the entire conceptual framework. Such fun times developing grand ideas! Too, too funny! And Lois,...

I was a colleague of Philips' during the summer of 1968 at the art foundation in Long Beach Island.
He was a one of a kind and a fabulous human being. I also knew Lois and I have an etching of hers
that hangs on my office wall. I see it every day. I very much regret not keeping in touch.
I is my loss.

the Daring Project 1985 Philadelphia, I danced in this project. May his memeory be eternal.

I have fond memories of Phil from my days at Central and the Class of 216. My sympathy to his family.

Phil and I attended Cooke Jr. High School together (1955-1958) he went on to Central HS & I on to Olney, but still over the years there was a connection. I worked with a man Phil Italiano who new Phil. Phillips, rest in peace

I have so many memories with Phil and Lois - the basements of Boston tour when his show at the Contemporary Art museum there required me to spend my spring break in basements of Boston, then there was the yogurt fight in my kitchen in. Marquette, MI. Fun times with the big guy. Condolences to Lois and Steffi as well as John and Koz.

Phil was larger than life - in stature and creative ideas I send my fond wishes to Lois and his family.
