Philomena A. Gruppo

Philomena was my director a brilliant Nurse practitioner we worked together until she left to help her Dad and I left moving with my family. WE wrote to each other every Christmas to stay in touch Dec.2025 would have been our 41st year. I did not receive her reply and noted her obituary. I want to extend my condolences to her family and friends. I had a perpetual Mass enrollment by the Capuchin Missionares through the Seraphic Mass Assoc.in Pittsburg Pa. RI P my dear friend.

I met Philomena when we worked together at Hagedorn Psychiatric Hospital and had the great pleasure of maintaining a friendship with her thereafter. Philomena was truly a remarkable person, her light & positivity emanated in every situation & no matter what struggles she was going through herself, she always had a smile, a kind word & an optimistic attitude. Dear Len and Lucille, So very sorry for your loss, I remember Philomena from years ago when she came back to PA and as her Realtor I showed her homes here in PA, she was so much fun, so smart and so nice to work with. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today, Arlene and Marcel

Dear Len and Lucille and family, I pray that your hearts will be comforted as you miss Philomena. Roz and I got to visit with her one year when we were back in PA and so enjoyed spending time catching up on our lives. Look forward to a big family reunion in Heaven. Love to you all.

I worked with Philomena at Hagedorn. What I remember all these years later is her smile. She was always smiling. Wonderful and impeccable in her career.
