Phoebe Beesemyer

As a child, I lived next door to the senior Beesemyer family and knew Frank and his family well. When Frank and Phoebe were first married, they lived in the same house (which the seniors had retired and left to them). Phoebe was a super happy and energetic heroine for me, a role model. I remember working in the garden with her and learning how to make lemon meringue pie in the big old fashioned kitchen. She set a standard for me as to what being a wife could be.

My beloved and inspirational aunt Phoebe whom I shall truly miss...what a lady.

Dear Beesemeyers - This is Julie Wong, Ron's oldest daughter. Do you remember when I got left behind at your house when my family stopped there on the way to a trip and I was reading a book and didn't hear everybody load up? With seven kids in your own family, I'm sure the last thing you needed was a family of six more kids piling out at your house and swimming in your pool, but your mother was always a gracious hostess with a lot of class. Glad that you were all with her even with three...
