Not sure what to say?

Geri, Jan, Canty, Gary, Grandkids & Future Decendants,

Phoebe was a special person that we will all miss dearly. You daughters, that cool moxie that you have...it came from her. When I got to know her at Hueytown High, she was just as smooth as silk. And over the years, every time I saw her, (old age included) she was still that smooth.

When I came to HHS as a scared sophmore from McNeil, Mrs. Cochran was a beacon of sanity in my life. Whenever I could I would go into her office just to chat and she always greeted me with that beautiful smile that went all the way to her eyes. I just want you to know that I am thinking of you. Phoebe was a wonderful person and I still am grateful for her help to me when I was at Hueytown High. Her advice is still helpful.

Geri and Jan,
I'll always remember Phoebe as a vibrant, smiling woman. She was very helpful to me as I left college and even wrote a grad school rec for me (I wish I had followed her advice!).
My heart goes out to you, Canty, Gary and all the grandchildren.
May the Peace of Christ be with you.
