Ruth, I know it is late, but my prayers are with you and your family. It is never easy to lose a loved one.

Our sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of your mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When I first met Phyllis I called her "Ruth". That was the name I associated with her last name "Acton". I learned there was a connection; mom and daughter. I enjoyed many visits with Phyllis. I also have enjoyed visits with Ruth. The Lord blessed me with the Acton family. I know Phyllis is enjoying fellowship with our Lord. Nice to have the assurance of a relationship with Jesus. My love

I just found out about your loss this morning... and am saddened by the news. Aunt Phyllis was always so kind and gentle toward me. And her smile lit up her whole face. I remember the occasional visits between our two families, and will always remember her as a good, good person. My prayers are with you.

"Mom-you taught me something about photography too"

Some of my best memories of my mother were the cookies and goodies she baked at holiday time. My sister Marilyn carries on her tradition making her famous date nut bread with cream cheese, deviled eggs and that cranberry salad. I was partial though to the "things" (toasted bread with hamburger mix and cheese topping) she made and the soup my dad cooked on Sunday nights.
My mother also was an excellent knitter and made many afghan spreads, pot holders and clothing items including a...
